About Us

Menuha Nature Retreat and Conference Centre is located in the heart of the central Free State, only 40km northwest of Bloemfontein. Close enough from the capital for a brief escape, but just far enough to be removed from the grind of daily life.

Menuha is located on a private game farm, nestled among indigenous trees, which provide for an intimate and unique destination. The six chalets are secluded and hidden from one another to provide privacy and a unique experience with the natural environment.

Menuha offers comfortable, affordable country style accommodation, aimed at groups of 10 or more. The maximum amount of guests that can be accommodated is 24. The conference centre is in close proximty of all the chalets and includes a kitchen and dining room. Walking up along the cobbled steps just behind the lapa and boma, you will find the chapel with magnificent views of the farm. The chapel is situated on the top of the hill and can seat roughly 40 people.

Our retreat is the perfect setting for team building, workshops, Christian retreats, training courses, intimate weddings and special functions. Menuha is a place to relax, unwind and spend some time under African skies around a large fire.
